Autilla-Abbott alliance launches NFEx metals trading platform

Fintech firm Autilla – advised by former LME ceo Martin Abbott – is launching its new base metals trading platform today under the name Non-Ferrous Exchange Markets (NFEx Markets), with a live date aimed for the first quarter of 2018.

The project, which was first announced in February, is now fully funded by independent sources, having been registered since March, but may be opened to further third-party investment in the future, it announced on Monday. It will first focus on base metals but could expand into other areas later on thanks to fully configurable cloud-based technology, according to its new chief operating officer Mark Bradley.
